I wrote and presented English-language book reviews for Korea 24 Book Club, a regular segment on KBS World Radio spotlighting Korean literature not yet translated into English.
My editorial focus centered on underrepresented voices in the global literary market—particularly young women writers and LGBTQ authors—whose work interrogates contemporary South Korean society.
Key themes explored:
- Generational conflict and cultural expectations
- Socioeconomic inequality and precarity
- Sexism, homophobia, and structural discrimination
- Everyday resistance and alternative futures
Each review contextualized the work within Korea’s social and historical landscape while drawing connections to global feminist, queer, and justice-oriented discourses.
Korea 24 airs internationally through KBS World Radio in 11 languages, across global FM and podcast platforms.
Social Puzzles — This Morning, TBS eFM

I scripted and delivered weekly live commentary for Social Puzzles, a segment on TBS eFM’s This Morning, examining urgent and controversial social issues in South Korea for international English-speaking audiences.
Each segment required condensing complex debates into five-minute live radio scripts that balanced accuracy, cultural nuance, and accessibility.
Topics included:
- LGBTQ+ rights, backlash, and policy debates
- Youth vulnerability, child welfare, and demographic crisis
- Animal welfare ethics and high-profile legal cases
- Generational divides shaped by inequality and social change
The work combined journalistic research, cultural translation, and live broadcast delivery under time constraints.
