I’m a writer, teacher and human currently based in British Columbia, Canada, on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples: xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

I was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1988. My writing and visual art explore memory, identity, intergenerational connection, and the emotional landscapes of the Korean diaspora. I’m forever traversing liminal spaces. Between countries, cities, gigs, and versions of myself that I have quietly & painstakingly outgrown.

As Managing Editor at Nabillera, I seek to nurture and amplify emerging voices in Korean literature in translation, literary criticism, and beyond.

I am also the CEO and Founder of SAD MILLENNIAL ENTERTAINMENT LLC™️, a community of tired but hopeful Millennials capitalism left for dead. We’re laughing with, not at.
